The 1.0 edition of Darkest Dungeon 2 will reach the Epic Games Store and Steam on May 8, Red Hook Studios revealed. Released in 2015, the first Darkest Dungeon established a roguelike turn-based RPG franchise that quickly became known for its depth and difficulty. The second Darkest Dungeon game has remained in Early Access since debuting October 2021, and its time to shine has nearly arrived. The Darkest Dungeon world is finally set to officially expand, following the announcement of a release date for version 1.0 of Darkest Dungeon 2.
